(1)A brief introduction of AigakariAigakari is one of the most traditional formation .FromOH'HASHI Souei(9th Life-Time-Meijin ;AD 1756-1809) toKIMURA Yoshio(14th Life-Time-Meijin; AD 1905-1986 ) , that time was thegolden age of Aigakari . But after 1950's , Aigakari becomes relatively rare choice in professionlal Shogi players . Today Some professionals use this formation . Back to the top of this page |
(2) A Beginning of Aigakari(diagram 1)
Moves up to the diagram 1 1.P-2f P-8d 2.P-2e P-8e (diagram 1) In Aigakari games , both players advance their each Rook Pawn . And mainly , Sente exchanges the 2nd file Pawns in early stage . In the diagram 1 , after protecting the Bishop head with 3.G-7h , Sente exchanges the 2nd file Pawns by his Rook and backs the Rook onto 2f or 2h . The position of the Rook makes the charactor of the game . Sente Uki Bisha lines(diagram 1-1) After thediagram 1 3.G-7h G-3b 4.P-2d Px2d 5.Rx2d P*2c 6.R-2f (diagram 1-1) After the 2nd file Pawn exchange , Sente backs his Rook with 6.R-f . The Rook positioning here is called Uki Bisha. By this Rook position , Sente temporarily prevents Gote's 8th file Pawn exchange and in most games Sente has an attacking position . Sente Hiki Hisha lines(diagram 1-2) After thediagram 1 3.G-7h G-3b 4.P-2d Px2d 5.Rx2d P*2c 6.R-2h (diagram 1-2) After the 2nd file Pawn exchange Sente backs his Rook with 6.R-2h . (2) TSUKADA special(diagram 2)
After the diagram 1-1 6...S-6b 7.P-1f P-1d 8.S-3h P-6d 9.P-7f P-8f 10.Px8f Rx8f 11.P*2d (diagram 2) Sente pushes the 1st file Pawn and Gote replies with 7...P-1d . Sente moves up his right Silver with 8.S-3h . When Gote pushes the 6th file Pawn with 8...P-6d , Sente opens his Bihsop line with 9.P-7f allowing Gote to exchange the 8th file Pawns . Just after Gote's 8th file Pawn exchange , Sente drops a Pawn with 11.P*2d to exchange the 2nd file Pawns again , aiming the 6d-Pawn by the Rook . (3) Koshikake Gin (Sente Uki Bisha)(diagram 3)
After the diagram 1-1 6...S-7b 7.P-1f P-1d 8.S-3h P-6d 9.P-7f P-8f 10.Px8f Rx8f 11.P*8g R-8d 12.P-4f S-6c 13.S-4g P-3d 14.S-5f S-5d (diagram 3) After pushing the 1st file Pawn , Sentemoved up the right Silver with 8.S-3h .Replying Gote's 8.P-6d , Sente opens the Bishop line with 9.P-7f allowing Gote to exchange the 8th file Pawns . Gote exchanges the 8th file Pawn and backs his Rook with 11...R-8d making Uki Bishaform . Instead of 11...R-8d , 11...R-8b is also an important line . Sente pushes the 4th file Pawn and advances his right Silver to 5f-square making KoshikakeGinform . Gote makes same form with 14...S-5d . The line in this section is a kind of AigakariKoshikakegin. After the diagram 1-1 6...S-6b 7.P-9f P-3d 8.R-3f G-3c 9.P-7f P-8f 10.Px8f Rx8f 11.N-7g K-4a 12.K-4h S-4b 13.S-3h K-3b 14.P-7e R-8b 15.B-9g P-6d 16.R-8f P*8d 17.S-6h S-6c 18.R-7f (diagram 6) The move 7.P-9f mainly means Sente wants toselect Hineri Bisha. Gote's opens his Bishop line with 7...P-3d , and Sente slides his Rookwith 8.R-3f aiming at the Pawn . Gote moves up his 3b-Gold with 8...G-3c to protect the 3d-Pawn . After these moves , Sente opens the Bishop line with 9.P-7f allowing Gote to exchange the 8th file Pawns . When Gote exchanges the Pawns , Sente lets his left Knihgt jump with 11.N-7g to develope the camp likeISHIDA ryu hongumi . After the King move , Sente advnces the 7th file Pawn with 14.P-7e facirng the Rooks .Gote lets his Rook escape with 14...R-8b . Sente moves up the Bishop with 15.B-9g and slides his Rook with 16.R-8f facing the Rooks again . Gote droppes a Pawn with 16...P*8d to avoid the exchange . (7) Tatefu dori kyusen(diagram 7)
After the diagram 1-1 6...S-7b 7.S-3h P-1d 8.P-9f P-6d 9.P-7f P-3d 10.R-3f (diagram 7) Sente moves up the right Silver with 7.S-3h and pushes the 9th file Pawn to prepare making Hineri Bisha formation . Against 9.P-7f , Gote doesn't exchange the 8th file Pawns , but opens his Bishop line with 9...P-3d . Sente slides his Rook aiming the 3d-Pawn . This line has no established name . (8)Tatefu Bougin(diagram 8)
After the diagram 1-1 6...S-7b 7.S-3h P-6d 8.S-2g P-3d 9.R-3f (diagram 8) Sente moves up his right Silver with 7.S-3h threatening the head of Gote's Bishop . Gote opens the Bishop line to defend . Sente slides his Rook with 9.R-3f aiming at the 3d-Pawn . This line is called Tatefu Bougin or Hijiride Bougin . Back to the top of this page |

After the diagram 1-2 6...P-8f 7.Px8f Rx8f 8.P*8g R-8d 9.S-3h P-3d 10.S-2g (diagram 9) Gote also exchanges the 8th file Pawns by hisRook . And he backs the Rook on 8d toprotect the 2nd file by the side power of the Rook . Sente advances his right Silver to prepare attacking . And Gote opend the Bishop line with 9...P-3d to protect the Bishop's head . This line include Genshi Bougin. But main line of this line called Hiki Hisha Bougin. Back to the top of this page |
