(1)A brief introduction of Aigakari

Aigakari is one of the most traditional formation .FromOH'HASHI Souei(9th  Life-Time-Meijin ;AD 1756-1809)  toKIMURA  Yoshio(14th Life-Time-Meijin; AD 1905-1986 ) , that time was thegolden age of Aigakari .  

But after  1950's , Aigakari  becomes  relatively  rare  choice  in professionlal  Shogi players .

Today  Some  professionals  use  this  formation .

In Aigakari games , both  players  advance  their  each Rook  Pawn . And  mainly  , Sente  exchanges  the 2nd  file  Pawns  in early stage .

In the diagram 1 , after protecting  the  Bishop  head  with  3.G-7h ,  Sente  exchanges  the  2nd  file  Pawns  by  his  Rook  and  backs  the  Rook  onto  2f  or  2h  .  

The position  of  the  Rook  makes  the  charactor  of  the  game .

After  the  2nd  file  Pawn  exchange  ,  Sente  backs  his  Rook  with  6.R-f  .  The  Rook  positioning  here  is  called  Uki Bisha.

By  this  Rook  position  ,  Sente  temporarily  prevents  Gote's  8th  file  Pawn  exchange  and  in  most  games  Sente  has  an  attacking  position .

Sente pushes  the  1st  file  Pawn  and  Gote  replies  with  7...P-1d . Sente  moves  up  his  right  Silver  with  8.S-3h  .

When  Gote  pushes  the  6th  file  Pawn  with  8...P-6d  , Sente  opens  his  Bihsop  line  with  9.P-7f  allowing  Gote  to  exchange  the  8th  file  Pawns  .  

Just  after  Gote's  8th  file  Pawn  exchange  ,  Sente  drops  a Pawn   with  11.P*2d  to  exchange  the  2nd  file  Pawns  again  ,  aiming  the  6d-Pawn  by  the  Rook  .

This  line  is  one  of  the  most  famous  lines  of  TSUKADA  special.

Gote exchanges  the  8th  file  Pawn  and  backs  his  Rook  with  11...R-8d  making  Uki Bishaform . Instead  of  11...R-8d  ,  11...R-8b  is  also  an  important  line .

Sente  pushes  the 4th  file  Pawn and  advances  his right Silver to 5f-square  making  KoshikakeGinform . Gote  makes  same form with 14...S-5d .

The line  in  this  section  is  a  kind of  AigakariKoshikakegin.

The move  7.P-9f  mainly means Sente  wants  toselect  Hineri  Bisha. Gote's  opens  his  Bishop  line  with  7...P-3d  , and  Sente slides  his  Rookwith  8.R-3f  aiming  at  the  Pawn  .

Gote moves  up  his  3b-Gold  with  8...G-3c  to  protect  the  3d-Pawn  . After  these  moves  ,  Sente  opens  the  Bishop  line  with  9.P-7f  allowing  Gote  to  exchange  the  8th  file  Pawns .

When Gote exchanges  the Pawns , Sente  lets  his  left  Knihgt  jump  with  11.N-7g  to  develope  the  camp  likeISHIDA ryu hongumi .

After  the  King move , Sente  advnces  the  7th  file  Pawn  with  14.P-7e  facirng  the  Rooks .Gote lets  his  Rook  escape  with  14...R-8b .

Sente  moves  up  the  Bishop  with  15.B-9g  and  slides  his  Rook  with  16.R-8f  facing  the  Rooks  again . Gote  droppes  a  Pawn  with  16...P*8d  to  avoid  the  exchange .

Until  18.R-7f  ,  Sente  succeeds to make  a  form  like  ISHIDA  ryu  hongumi. This  line  is  called  Hineri  Bisha .

Against  9.P-7f  ,  Gote  doesn't  exchange  the  8th  file  Pawns  ,  but  opens  his  Bishop  line  with  9...P-3d  . Sente  slides  his  Rook  aiming  the  3d-Pawn  .  

This  line  has  no  established  name  .  In  this  site , I  call  this  line  Tate Fu dori kyusen .

This line include  Genshi Bougin. But main line  of this line  called  Hiki Hisha Bougin.
